Performance 

The 2022 Tucson comes with two powertrain options depending on the hybrid or non-hybrid variant. The non-hybrid versions have a 2.5L Inline-4 engine that produces 187 HP and 178 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid versions have a 1.6L turbocharged Inline-4 engine that produces 226 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque and has a 6-speed automatic transmission. 

Technology and Safety Features 

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson comes with a digital gauge display, a touch-sensitive control panel for the infotainment and climate-control system, and a push-button shifter. An 8.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ is standard, a 10.3-inch screen with built-in navigation comes optional. Digital key smartphone app provides lock and unlock features and remote start option.  

Safety features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, high beam assist, highway driving assist, and many more.
