The all-new 2022 Santa Cruz has an excellent multimedia suite of features. It comes standard with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, an 8-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker stereo, and two USB ports. Other features are available on higher trims, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless device charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, GPS-linked navigation, an eight-speaker stereo, and two additional USB ports.
The 2022 Santa Cruz has multiple standard driver assistive features. Included on every model are forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, driver drowsiness monitoring, rear seat alert, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera. As with the infotainment features, there are multiple available features here, as well. Upgrades include blind spot monitoring, a blind spot camera, rear cross traffic alert, a 360° parking camera system, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control.
The 2022 Santa Cruz comes in one of two powertrains. The first option is a 2.5L four-cylinder and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 191 horsepower and is available on the SE and SEL trims. The other option is a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. The engine produces 281 horsepower and is available on the SEL Premium and Limited trims. FWD and AWD are available on both powertrains.
